"Tonight is your big night, little sister," Princess Celestia said to Luna, who seemed worried, "Ponies all over Equestria are going to be outside to see your moon."
"I'm nervous," Princess Luna said, looking at her older sister, "What if I can't keep it up?"
"Why wouldn't you be able to keep it up," Princess Celestia said, letting out a quiet laugh, "You've never had trouble with it before. Trust me, this will be just like any other night." Princess Celestia put a reassuring hoof on her sister's back as she stepped off the throne to let Luna on.
"If you say so," Princess Luna said, feeling slightly better, "Here I go."
The sun, which had been setting for the past few minutes, now sank out of sight beneath the horizon. The orange sky slowly faded to the deep blue of night. On the other side of Equestria, the moon lit up the sky. The bright orange orb slowly worked its way into the sky, much larger and brighter than usual.
Finally, after several minutes, the moon was high in the sky, visible to all in Equestria. Several of the major towns and cities had big parties planned for that night, and with the moon in full visibility, the celebrations began.
Princess Luna let out a sigh of relief.
"I told you nothing would go wrong," Princess Celestia said with a comforting smile.
"I'm nervous," Princess Luna said, looking at her older sister, "What if I can't keep it up?"

Im spending my spring break at a resort down in florida, and when the moon came up, i went outside and laid down on my back on the tennis courts for hours staring at the moon and night sky that Luna gives us. I wish I could thank her in person, that would be the greatest.
